Once again, we had the privilege of being a part of the Clinton Chamber of Commerce‘s annual Agri-Business Banquet. This year the banquet made the trip to the Copper and Brass Room for the dinner catered by Hilltop Catering.
The dinner — a fantastic combination of roast pork, chicken and other goodies definitely did not disappoint.
We also heard the news and views of Jerry Gulke of the Gulke Group regarding the current state of finances in agriculture in the United States. Have to mention this, most people who are not in agriculture or in an agriculture-related field have such a small understanding of the subject. There is so, so much to learn and know and follow. We appreciate the chance to learn more about where our food comes from and the wild and wily areas of how international finance affects our bottom line.
Fascinating.
Have to admit, though, one of the brightest spots was when Krystal won one of the door prizes! Yeah!
And now, for the important part (not too many people really want to listen to me prattle on and on.) Some of the pictures and some of the participants! Forgive me, I don’t know all the people. Or, actually most of the people in the photos. But you are able to share or comment on the photos if you click on it — goes to comments on Facebook even.
